This is Ryan, a character from my story Jump. He has brown hair and brown eyes and he is seventeen years old. Ryan is kind of weird and suicidal but it's because of some bad things that have happened to him over the past couple of years. He had an abusive girlfriend who he only just recently broke up with, and he is having a hard time living with what she did to him. I think I made his lips look clownish or his face too pale, one or the other. He's not really pale or clownish.

These are some characters from the story I'm writing (read it please!).
TAEGAN is seventeen years old with brown hair and blue eyes. He lived in a village by the sea with his parents and his dog, Salt, until one day he was kidnapped and forced to serve on the Leviathan, which is the ship that belongs to Mr. Dubois, the tragedian. When Taegan was born, he survived a disease called the "blight" which killed many people in his time. His original name was Daniel but the villagers called him "Taegan," which means "strength."
(Here's an interesting fact: The name "Teague," which Taegan could also be derived from, means "wise poet"--I think it has Gaelic roots or something. This is interesting because Taegan is sort of a poet when he is living in the village; he loves to make up songs and poetry, and observe the stars.)
ROSE is in her late twenties or early thirties. She has reddish gold hair and blue or green eyes. Rose's parents died of the blight when she was very young, and she was taken to live with her uncle, Mr. Ferguson (later Dubois). Taegan meets Rose when he is onboard the ship, and she is the only one who tries to help him. (You probably won't see her smiling like this ever, though.)
KIRA is around Taegan's age or a little older. She has dark brown hair and she lives in the mountains with her mother, Rhoda, and sister, Song. Her father was hanged for stealing food in the city, and Kira hasn't spoken since that happened. When Taegan escapes from the shipmaster and is wandering in the woods, Kira finds him and takes care of him. She also starts to speak again when she meets him. Kira admires Taegan and you could say that she loves him, but at this point Taegan believes he has cast off everything about his past self and he does not respond well to affection and care.
